Deben Red Team won the Junior Class - team
comprising of (From left to right below) Emily Verrill,
Ellen Wilton, Jess
Mace and Alice Simpson. Deben Black also did the riding club proud
gaining a 4th and 5th placing on their first attempt at Riding Club
Horse Trials. Marie Smith
one of seniors also got placed 3rd in her class.

The Riding Club Horse Trials National Championships for this event is to
be held on the weekend of the 5th August at Offchurch,
Warwickshire. This is a great achievement for the Juniors as none
of them have ever competed at this level and we are grateful for all the
help and support we receive from, not only parents, but all the Riding
Club Committee members and Chairman, Linda Gaunt.
This is a great chance for these
youngsters, but as you may appreciate the cost of stabling away and
travel expenses, especially with the cost of diesel, means that Riding
Club funds just cannot cover all the costs. Therefore, any
contribution for sponsorship for these wonderful and talented youngsters
would be extremely gratefully received!!!!
