Deben Riding Club

Once again the Juniors came up trumps, taking the first and second places in the Riding Club Junior Novice Showjumping qualifier at Thorne Court , Cockfield, Bury St Edmunds.  

The Deben Red team finished the competition on zero faults taking 1st place in the Area and Qualifier competition and therefore qualifying for the National Championships at Lincoln .  The team comprised of  Amy Hunter,  Jess Mace,  Ellen Wilton and  Emily Verrill (from left to right pictured)

Deben Black finished strongly with 8 faults carried through and being placed second in the Qualifier and 3rd as an area team. This team consisted of Amber Butler, Olivia Davitt, Grace Harbottle and Amy Creasey (from left to right pictured below)

Three of Deben Red Competitors were also placed in the Individual Qualifier Competition with Emily taking 1st position, Jess Mace taking 2nd, Olivia Davitt 3rd and Ellen placed 4th.

As Olivia was not part of Deben Red team but the highest placed individual in the qualifying round we are hopeful that she will qualify as an individual.

Deben Juniors have once again shown their dedication and tireless effort to have won competitions in all disciplines so far, with only the Riding Test and Equitation Jumping left to aim for.  We wish to take this opportunity to wish them he very best of luck and if anyone wishes to sponsor this great bunch of juniors lets hear from them
